It's official now. Gautham Menon has finally dropped the curtains on the rumours pertaining to his much-talked Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru by announcing that the project has been shelved.

The filmmaker was bombarded with the questions by his followers on Twitter after it was reported that Yohan : Adhyayam Ondru was temporarily put on hold. Answering them, he wrote,"And to all the people who have been asking, Yohan with Vijay is not happening,"

Ajith turns computer engineer Role for Vishnuvardhan Film

While Ajith Kumar's latest work out pictures are doing rounds on internet, there is an interesting piece of information that has arrived about his role in his next project. The buzz is that the Thala will be seen in the role of a computer engineer in the upcoming movie directed by Vishnuvardhan.

If reports are to be believed, Ajith Kumar will seen in the role of a computer engineer-turned-hacker. It is said that the Thala has continued his bad-boy image in a row after Mankatha and Billa 2. On the other end, he is sweating hard in the gym to look younger in the movie. He is spending six hours a day to have a beef-up avatar for his character.

Meanwhile, Ajith Kumar is in Mumbai to shoot his portions in upcoming bilingual movie English Vinglish starring Sridevi. Composer, musician and two-time Academy Award-winner A.R. Rahman will be the commencement speaker at Miami University's spring ceremony, 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Yager Stadium and will receive an honorary doctorate from Miami University.

“We are honored to have A.R. Rahman as our commencement speaker. His accomplishments as a composer are inspirations to us all, and his humanitarian efforts shine as examples of what our students can do,” said President David Hodge.

Rahman’s musical compositions in the movie “Slumdog Millionaire” earned him two Oscars, two Grammy awards, a Golden Globe, a BAFTA award and a Broadcast Film Critics Association Award. Recently he collaborated with Mick Jagger to perform on the acclaimed album “SuperHeavy.”

Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff will be seen in Tamil superstar Rajinikanth-starrer Tamil film Kochadaiyaan.

Kochadaiyaan, a period film, is directed by Rajini's daughter Soundarya.

"I am doing Rajinikanth's film Kochadaiyaan. I play the role of a Raja (king), beyond this I cannot talk much as I am not allowed to do so," Jackie told reporters at the festival of Vidhu Vinod Chopra's films.

Director Vijay would work with actor Vijay is a longtime buzz, which is likely to become a reality soon. If sources are to be believed, the Ilayathalapathy is keen to join hands with the 'Madrasapattinam' and 'Deiva Thirumagal' director, sometime next year.

"By the first quarter of 2012, both would become free, as the actor would complete Yohan Adhyayam Ondru with Gautham Vasudev Menon and the director would finish off his yet-to-be-titled film with Vikram. They would start their project after that," sources say.

Remember circles close to Vijay said recently that his forthcoming films would be with established directors alone, as the actor wants to deliver handful of big hits in the next five years, before he would start focusing on politics in a full-fledged manner.

Apparently proving this, Vijay's next 'Velayudham' is directed by 'Jayam' Raja, 'Nanban' by Shankar and 'Yohan Adhyayam Ondru' by Gautham Vasudev Menon. In contrary, in the last couple of years, two of his films ('Vettaikaran' and 'Sura') were with budding directors.
