Taj mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the World, always portrayed the essence of Love. It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved, favorite and beautiful wife Mumtaj. Adding the fact that she was the fourth wife of seven wives of the emperor who killed her husband to marry her and oh yes! She died giving birth to her fourteenth child. The construction was started in the year 1632 and the glorious structure was completed by the year 1648. It took more labor and lives of brilliant technicians than we could imagine.

Lovely Love Break up Quotes and Poems for the Single

Unknown | 2:19 AM | |

"Sometimes life brings you to such a pathetic situation that you feel smiling is far better then explaining why we are sad"

I really wonder why people suddenly change after they get what they wanted. One day they are sweet, the next day they are not.One day they are there with you, the next day they are not.One day you are important to them, the next day you are worthless. One day they love you, the next day they don’t care about you. That's how ironic people and things can be, pretty lies wrapped up in ribbons...And the worst part is…that kind of people still get what they want in life...And we are left behind crying for them....Wondering how they changed… ♥ ♥

How Husband and Wife's Love....

“When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn’t love her anymore. I just pitied her!

A LETTER FROM A GIRL TO JRD TATA IN 1974...

Saravana | 7:52 AM | | Be the first to comment!

THE GIRL WRITING AS HERSELF….
It was probably the April of 1974. Bangalore was getting warm and gulmohars were blooming at the IISc campus. I was the only girl in my postgraduate department and was staying at the ladies’ hostel. Other girls were pursuing research in different departments of Science. I was looking forward to going abroad to complete a doctorate in computer science. I had been offered scholarships from Universities in the US… I had not thought of taking up a job in India.
One day, while on the way to my hostel from our lecture-hall complex, I saw an advertisement on the notice board. It was a standard job-requirement notice from the famous automobile company Telco (now Tata Motors)… It stated that the company required young, bright engineers, hardworking and with an excellent academic background, etc.

At the bottom was a small line: ‘Lady Candidates need not apply.’ I read it and was very upset. For the first time in my life I was up against gender discrimination.
