smartphones with the latest Blackberry 10 operating system. Blackberry Q5, is
one of the latest offerings with the unibody design and feels solid in hand.
This smartphone is equipped with a four row QWERTY keypad has isolated keys
which are easier and faster to type on. It has a plastic back cover instead of
the luxurious non-slip rubber back as on the flagship device, Q10. The
smartphone is available in three colours which are black, pure white, and pure
red. The Canadian mobile maker is prominently known brand is now looking at
capturing the mid-range segment with this new model. The front is completely
dominating with the notification LED and an array of sensors. Even it will look
little cheaper but the plastic key board will offer good tactile feedback. The
company has officially announced the Blackberry Q5 price in India and it is
placed at INR 24,990.

Byond eyes Rs. 400 crore turnover from phones, tablets sales in 2013-14
Pune-based Byond Tech Electronics Monday said it is eyeing to sell over one lakh smart phones per month by launching new range in lower price bracket and targeting Rs. 400 crore turnover from smart phones and tablets in 2013-14.
"We are targeting to sell more than one lakh smartphones in India as demand for such phones is enormous and its market is growing very fast," company's founder and CEO Prashant P Bora.
Bora said the company has set a target of achieving sales of Rs. 400 crore from smart phones and tablets in 2013-14.

Karbonn unveils A9+ and A21 dual-SIM smartphones with Android 4.0
The Karbonn Smart A9+ and the Smart A21 dual-SIM smartphones, that were recently spotted online have now been officially launched as part of the company's 'Duple' series in the country for Rs. 9,990 and Rs. 11,990 respectively.
Both dual-SIM devices have more or less the same specs with differences in screen sizes and battery. The Karbonn Smart A9+ sports a 4-inch IPS display while the A21 comes with a 4.5-inch qHD display. Both have a 480x800 pixel resolution. They run on Android 4.0 and feature 5MP auto focus rear cameras with LED flash and 1.3MP front cameras.

Karbonn announces made-in-India Agnee tablet with Android 4.0
India handset maker Karbonn announced the launch of Ice Cream Sandwich powered Agnee tablet in partnership with Innominds. Based on a Qualcomm reference design, the Agnee tablet will be available in country before Diwali for price-tag under Rs. 10,000. There is no word on the exact pricing or availability details right now.
On the specs side, Karbonn Angee features Qualcomm MSM722A S1 processor, 7-inch WVGA display, 1.3MP front camera, 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The tablet also comes with 3G and voice-calling support.

Kapil Sibal: No Roaming Charges in India from 2013

Aakash 2 supply to IIT Bombay started; launch in October: Datawind
Maker of low cost Aakash tablet, Datawind, today said it has started supplying the new version of the tablet to IIT Bombay and it is likely to be launched in October.
"Supplies are on to IIT Bombay. In the next few weeks, it should be launched. I do not have the exact date, but HRD Minister (Kapil Sibal) has said he wants to launch on the anniversary date which is October 5," Datawind CEO Sunit Singh Tuli told PTI.
The launch will depend on the Minister's schedule, but it is not very far from now, he added. Tuli said Datawind has started supplying the next version of the low cost tablet, Aakash 2, to IIT Bombay since the last one month and a half. However, he refused to disclose other details.

New Delhi: It is the best known secret of Indian
politics. And it comes as no surprise that India's national, state and
regional parties earned Rs.
4,662 crore in the last seven years, mostly in form of donations and

New Delhi, Aug 15: India will send a spaceship to Mars to collect important scientific information about the Red Planet, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh announced today.
Addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort on the 66th Independence Day, Singh said, "
This spaceship to Mars will be a huge step for us in the area of science and technology."
"Recently, the Cabinet has approved the Mars Orbiter Mission. Under this Mission, our spaceship will go near Mars and collect important scientific information," he said.
He congratulated scientists and technologists who have enhanced the prestige of the country by successfully testing the Agni-V Missile and launching the RISAT-I Satellite in space this year.
India will be the sixth country to launch a mission to the Red Planet after the US, Russia, Europe, Japan and China.

Only 21 per cent MBAs in India are employable: study

The employability of management graduates in India has declined in the
past five years, as only 21 per cent of MBAs surveyed are 'employable', a
study has said.
According to the MBAUniverse.com-MeriTrac
Employability Study 2012, which covered 2,264 MBAs from 29 cities and
100 B-Schools, beyond the top 25, only 21 per cent are employable.
The previous study of 2007 by MeriTrac had placed employability at 25 per cent.

Speeding BMW hits other car, sending driver through windshield

New Delhi: It is a story all too familiar. Another
speeding BMW has claimed yet another life in the National Capital
Region. A 39-year-old man was killed on Monday, when a BMW which was
allegedly being driven by an MBBS student, rammed into his Maruti Eco
van, head-on.
The incident took place at Tilak Marg in New Delhi
around 1:20 am. The victim, Mohammad Rafiq, a resident of Fazalpur
village was returning home.
