smartphones with the latest Blackberry 10 operating system. Blackberry Q5, is
one of the latest offerings with the unibody design and feels solid in hand.
This smartphone is equipped with a four row QWERTY keypad has isolated keys
which are easier and faster to type on. It has a plastic back cover instead of
the luxurious non-slip rubber back as on the flagship device, Q10. The
smartphone is available in three colours which are black, pure white, and pure
red. The Canadian mobile maker is prominently known brand is now looking at
capturing the mid-range segment with this new model. The front is completely

company has officially announced the Blackberry Q5 price in India and it is
placed at INR 24,990.

operating system along with all-touch screen with intuitive gesture. Well, it
does not compromises on comfort, the device is packed with 120 grams body
weight and comes with body dimensions like 120 x 66 x 10.8 mm. It is excited
that this budget phone will sports a 3.1 inches supporting a screen resolution
of 720 x 720 resolution. It has IPS LCD display as similar to the high end Q10
device. The display carries a 328 ppi pixel density and 16M colors combination
to ensure great visual effects. This more youthful and affordable device is
powered by a Dual-core 1.2 GHz CPU and backed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon
chipset.
It has a inbuilt storage of 8GB which can be
expanded up to 32GB via microSD card support. It is equipped with all exciting
applications like Blackberry Hub which lets users stay connected without
interruption and Blackberry Time Shift captures milliseconds before and after
photo shutter has been activated. Along side, the handset is powered by a 2GB
of RAM memory to provide seamless multi-tasking ability. It has sensor
applications like accelerometer, proximity, compass to enhance your experience.
It has a 5 megapixels supporting with a camera resolution 2592 х 1944 pixels.
Even the camera is placed sadly only 5 megapixels but you can able to get some
surprisingly good photos with autofocus and LED flash features. It is supported
with video recording at HD resolution of 1080 pixels at 30 fps. It also has a
secondary front facing camera of 2 megapixels to make video calling with 720
pixels resolution.
The smartphone has messaging features with
SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email, IM, BBM 6 facilities. The power house is packed with
a non-removable Li-Ion 2180 mAh battery to ensure awesome battery life. The
other value added applications includes document viewer, SNS integration,
Blackberry maps, organizer and photo viewer. Even it is not as the top quality
of the Blackberry Z10 or Q10, it is a good device which sure will find a good
place in many markets.
