It
seems like India mobile manufacturer Micromax is on a roll these days.
This can be said as recently, after launching A57 Superfone Ninja 3
Android smartphone few days back, now the leading smartphone vendor has
launched one more handset in the series — Micromax A87 Superfone Ninja
4. Reportedly, the new handset has been priced at Rs 5,999 and will be
available be available in Black, White and Black and White colors.
What
special about this budget phone? Well, unlike most other Android
Gingerbread powered smartphone Micromax A87 Superfone Ninja 4 runs on
Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread instead of Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread, however
not on Android 4.0 ICS.
But
at the same time, analysts believe the lack of a latest Android version
is not going to hurt the sales of the handset as people in India are
not so very conscious about the Android version, when considering buying
a budget smartphone.
As
far as other features of the handset are concerned, Micromax A87
Superfone Ninja 4 Android Smartphone will boast a 4-inch capacitive ouch
screen display along with a 800 × 480 pixels resolution. The handset
would come powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor — sufficient
to run Android 2.3.5. Further, A87 Superfone Ninja 4 is a dual-SIM
mobile with dual standby feature.
Additionally,
Micromax A87 Superfone Ninja 4 has a 2 megapixel fixed focus camera at
rear side, however lacks a front camera. But, it does have a default
storage option that can always be expanded using microSD card slot up to
32GB.
