Wednesday, Nokia unveiled Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 – its second
generation Lumia smartphones based on Windows Phone 8 OS with many groundbreaking features like wireless charging, glove-friendly capacitive touchscreen display and more.
While the details about the low-end Zeal Windows Phone 8 based smartphone, which will be released in early 2013 is already making rounds, a recent report from TheVerge suggests that the Finnish handset manufacturer is working on another low-end Windows Phone 8 based smartphone – “Flame”.
According
to this report, the Flame will be targeted towards the low-cost markets
and will be available at the same price points as the existing Lumia
smartphones – Lumia 610 and Lumia 710. It claims that Flame will be
released into the market in the first quarter of 2013.
As
far as the specifications are concerned, the rumored Flame Windows
Phone 8 device will have a 4 inch display, 1GHz dual core processor,
512MB RAM, 5MP rear camera and 4GB internal memory, claims the report.
However, there is no word from Nokia about the making of a low-cost Windows Phone 8 handset named Flame.
