After treating the consumers with Android 4.0.3, Samsung has now
released the Android 4.0.4 update for Galaxy Note. The update is now
available over-the-air and via the Kies app.
The update is around 111MB in size and can now be triggered by going to Setting>>About Phone>>Software Update.
According
to Samsung, the update brings several performance improvements,
signature unlock using the S-Pen, Pop up Play and new icons to the
device.
Originally launched last year at the IFA trade fair, this
phablet has been a surprise hit for the smartphone maker. It features a
5.3-inch HD display, 1.4GHz dual core processor, 8MP camera and S-Pen
support.
We are already hearing reports that Samsung is working on
Jelly Bean update for Galaxy Note and it will be released in Q4 this
year weeks after the launch of the Note successor. Samsung Galaxy Note 2
is going to announced ahead of IFA 2012 on August 29 and is likely to
be powered by a quad core processor and full HD display.
