Having acted with many big directors and actors, the actress is still due for a massive hit or a movie that has collected Rs 100 crore nett at Indian Box Office. Now, all eyes are fixed on her Ek Tha Tiger starring Salman Khan, the man who has registered his name thrice in the 100 Crore Club in Dabangg, Ready and Bodyguard.
While Kareena Kapoor (3 Idiots, Golmaal 3, Bodyguard and Ra.One) and Asin Thottumkal (Ghajini, Ready, Housefull 2, and Bol Bachchan) are sitting pretty at four films each that have collected above 100 crores, Kat, the actress with close to 30 movies to her credit, is hopeful of joining the club through Ek Tha Tiger. The early predictions show that the upcoming movie is most likely to join the 100 Crore Club and traders are expecting the movie to score the century in just one week. This means, a Katrina Kaif film, for the first time, will score a century in Indian soil.
It may be recalled that the lady luck did not smile on the actress on many occasions earlier even when she had paired up with Salman Khan. In fact, her movies like Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?, Partner and Yuvvraaj with Sallu have neither brought fame to her nor the jodi has proven to be a successful combo. Only multi-starrer Partner did a good business at the Box Office. Nonetheless, their off-screen relationship always made the audience to enjoy their pair on-screen.
However, Salman Khan, who has said that he wants his every movie to earn Rs 200 crore, seems to be confident of his Ek Tha Tiger's Box Office fate. Traders add that even if the movie fails to live up to the audience expectations, the film undoubtedly will join the 100-crore club considering the five-day extended weekend and the large release worldwide. All these show that Kat is finally ready to join the club!
