Samsung
unveiled the Galaxy S3, its flagship smartphone in May to compete with
Android dominators in the smartphone aren
a and of course the upcoming iPhone. The handset made heads turn with its massive display and exclusive software features including S Beam, S Voice and more.As the iPhone 5 is not yet launched, the iPhone 4S, which was launched in October 2011 is currently the apt rival to the Galaxy S3. Reason being, when launched, Samsung Galaxy S3 became the most pre-ordered gadget in history at 9 million, beating the iPhone 4S’s 9 million, when it was released back in 2011. The big question here is: Is it the South Korean tech giant’s latest offering to the smartphone world, the biggest threat to Apple’s domination?

Drag Race Scratch Test
Lately, the Galaxy S3 has went through several tests including hammer and
drop tests, which has already been reported by Gizbot. However, now, a
Samsung Galaxy fan website, APerfectGalaxy.com, has uploaded a video of
“Drag Race Scratch Test between Samsung Galaxy S3 an iPhone 4S” to YouTube.
As
the name implies, it is an unsual test, when the uploaded has tied both
the smartphones to the back of a vehicle with their faces down. Moving
forward, the video shows the vehicle driving and scratching the
smartphones on the concrete.
Relatively,
APerfectGalaxy has claimed that according to the the drag test, Galaxy
S3 appears to resist the scratching attempts made in this ultimate Drag
Race Scratch Test, however iPhone 4S failed. Watch the video
and see yourself, if it is fake or real. In the meantime, here is a
head-to-head comparison of both the handsets, depending on other specs
and features.
