type CMOS sensor with 20 MP effective resolution supporting an exquisite
image quality for a compact camera.
Sensor

20MP. This sensor has an area which is four folds that of a 1/2.3 type

the large sensor, Sony DSC-RX100 has a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar lens
with 3.6x optical zoom. The lens features Advanced Aspherical glass
