Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger, which had been rocking viewers for three weeks, has started to fall at the Box Office in India in the fourth week. Trade analysts call it the effect of Emraan Hashmi and Bipasha Basu starrer Raaz 3. The Kabir Khan directed action flick is facing rough tides with Raaz 3 at the collection centres.
Ek Tha Tiger witnessed a considerable drop in its business at the desi Box Office on the day of the release of Raaz 3. The movie collected Rs 42 lakhs on its fourth Friday and this collection was much lesser, when compared to its Thursday business, Rs 77 lakhs. The film has collected a total of 2.5 crores in its fourth weekend.
The collection of Ek Tha Tiger fell down further by 20% on fourth Monday, when compared to its fourth Friday collection. The movie raked in Rs 35 lakhs on its 27th day at the Box Office. Its business dripped further on Tuesday with its collection crossing Rs 30 lakhs. The movie has grossed Rs 197.80 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in 28 days. It needs Rs 2.2 crore to cross Rs 200 crore mark.
However, Vikram Bhatt directed movie Raaz 3 opened to a very good response and collected Rs 36.02 crores nett at the domestic Box Office in the first weekend. Its business dropped by 50% on Monday with its collection reaching Rs 5.74 crores nett, which was at par with the collection of big hits of the year 2012. The movie added approximately Rs 4.70 crores to its five day total Rs 46.46 crore and it's sure to cross Rs 50 crore mark at the desi Box Office today.
