Android 4.1 Jelly Bean: Samsung Galaxy S3, S2, S Advance and Ace 2 to Get the Update by November

On August 29, at the IFA 2012 expo in Berlin, Samsung the South Korean tech giant made waves in the tech media world with a slew of announcements including the much hyped Galaxy Note 2 phablet.
The world’s leading smartphone manufacturer also confirmed that it will roll out the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to its flagship smartphone – Galaxy S3 soon.

Now according to SamMobile, Samsung Denmark has confirmed that Official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 will arrive in October. The Korean giatn has also confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S2 will get the official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update in November.
Apparently, a news report has come from the folks at GSMarena citing Samsung Bulgaria, which is a good news for those having a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy S Advance. Both the mid-range smartphones will be getting the official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update without being updated to Ice Cream Sandwich before.
For those who are not aware, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update will offer many new features including Project Butter, which offers faster, smoother and more responsive performance to the Galaxy series smartphones.
The other features include enhanced accessibility with the on-screen navigation buttons, update to Android notifications – making them expandable and contractible with a pinch, resizable App Widgets functionality, high resolution contact photos, Android Beam app, which makes sharing content easier.
