At an event in California on 21st of March, 2016 Apple unveiled its small yet very powerful new iPhone model - the iPhone SE. The new iPhone SE goes back to the beloved 4 inch size that Apple had departed from with its iPhone 6 range. Apart from the smaller size, the primary draw point of the new device will be its price, as it has been priced rather shockingly affordable going against the usual expensive iPhone tag.
In fact, the device is going to be the cheapest new iPhone model ever. Nevertheless, the new iPhone SE is going to be a highly powerful new phone with latest powerful specs, which will make it a very attractive offering, as it comes at a relatively lower price tag and superb performance. The lower priced iPhone SE is also expected to boost the iPhone sales in the global market, which have been dwindling recently.
The new small yet big iPhone SE is thus, Apple’s new contender in the highly competitive global mobile market, where even the high-end large smartphones are getting cheaper in order to draw the attention of the buyers.

Why Both PC and Mac Need Antivirus Software

Unknown | 9:08 PM | | | | | Be the first to comment!

There are over 100 million users of Apple desktop computers and laptops in the world; however, it's a fact that more than 80% of the worldwide computer users choose Microsoft Windows over Apple OS. That's because of various reasons, and therefore confuses Apple developers who constantly struggle to come up with improved variants and user-friendly interfaces. No matter the efforts, it seems that Windows will continue to win this round and battleship over and over again while Apple has to admit its defeat.

But just like regular users, hackers and virus programmers also mostly target Windows users because of their great population compared to Apple computer users.

Big screen phones have become wildly popular over the last couple of years. The likes of Samsung Galaxy S III and HTC One X started the trend with displays around the 4-inch mark, and Samsung pushed the envelope further with the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Note II, with screens in the 5-inch territory. Other manufacturers have followed suit, and many have cited screen size as a big reason for picking Android-powered phones over the iPhone.

Apple acknowledges iOS 6 Do Not Disturb bug, claims normal functionality to resume after Jan 7

Unknown | 6:01 PM | |

iphone-display-635.jpg
Apple has acknowledged the iOS 6 Do Not Disturb bug that was reported by some users on New Year's Eve. It also claimed that the service will start functioning without any bugs after January 7.

As reported earlier iOS 6's 'Do Not Disturb' feature, which basically allows a user to silent all calls, messages and notifications, reportedly went kaput for many users on New Year's Eve. Unsuspecting iOS 6 users found the scheduling of DND to be completely off track. A few of them found DND running on the phone without being switched by the user, while it wouldn't shut off for others.

Apple's support article confirmed that iPhone, iPad and iPod touch were all impacted by the issue, which all but confirms that it is a core iOS 6, not limited to a single device.

Apple also suggested users should manually turn notifications off and on as a workaround until 'normal service' is resumed post January 7.
Symptoms
After January 1st, 2013, Do Not Disturb mode stays on past its scheduled end time.
Resolution
Do Not Disturb scheduling feature will resume normal functionality after January 7, 2013. Before this date, you should manually turn the Do Not Disturb feature on or off.
To turn off the scheduling feature, tap Settings > Notifications > Do Not Disturband switch Scheduled to Off.
